The Celtic Bayou in Redmond is, as the name implies, a combination Irish pub and Cajun restaurant, offering a reasonable selection of standards from both cultures. The more you like spicy food, the more you'll like the Celtic Bayou's fare; the chicken jambalaya in particular is good, though perhaps a bit too nuclear for some palates. We also recommend the Cajun fries and the cheese filled Irish tater tots, though the burgers are merely average. Beer selection is generally excellent.

Trivia comes in 8 rounds of five questions each, with a 10 question bonus round. It starts at 8:00 and is free to play. Arrive half an hour or so ahead of time and you should be able to score a table with little difficulty. Questions are of medium difficulty, and often more sports-heavy than most quiz nights. 2/07
